Our little Scotty is such a silly kid! Today, we went to the high school track so that I could exercise. Derrick dropped Scotty and I off at the track and he went up to the paved parking lot to rotate the tires on our car (he's very proud of how self reliant he was today!) The problem was that I didn't have a stroller for Scotty. Usually I put him in the stroller and cruise around the track and then when I'm done, we play some ball on the football field. BUT, one of the wheels on our stoller fell off last week while we were at the track and we can't get it to stay on. So, I took an armful of balls and a bat and put Scotty on the grass and told him to play while I started walking. Well, he didn't want to play by himself so he ran after me for one full lap. So, between stopping to play with Scotty and working in my workout, we were pretty worn out when we were done. THEN, we had to walk up this huge switchback ramp to a little road that led uphill to the parking lot Derrick was in. Scotty's little legs were so worn out that I had to carry him most of the way up the ramp and to the parking lot. He's freakin 35 pounds!! By that time, I was super worn out as well. We got in the car, heard some bragging about how self reliant Derrick is and made it home. As we were about to get out of the car, I sighed and said, "Oh my goodness!" To which Derrick replied, "Oh,
MY goodness!" Then we hear Scotty yell from the back seat, "
No!!! MYYY goodness!"

Too cute! I love kids!
How funny! I can't believe he ran a whole lap either!
You have a very funny kid, Raysha. I love that little guy.
Noah doesn't even like walking from the car to Safeway, I can't imagine him walking a whole lap with me. I'll bet Scotty slept REALLY well that night!
Guess you got a extra good workout that day! ;)Give Scotty hugs for us. Gracie still talks about "my Scotty".
